Erika K. Wedemeyer is a Senior Sales and Business Development Executive with over 13 years of experience in the Finance, Mortgage and Investor Relations industries. Erika decided to pursue a vocation in mortgage brokerage after growing up in a family comprised of realtors and developers. Throughout her professional career, Erika has proven her ability to drive business growth through aggressive sales initiatives that deliver revenue growth, market share and market penetration. She is an avid strategic planner who has the innate ability to balance sales production with sales leadership.
For the past 15 years, Erika K. Wedemeyer has lived in San Diego, California. She is very familiar with various communities throughout the city and is proud to have helped countless families secure the financing they needed to move into their ideal homes and achieve their dreams. As an experienced mortgage broker, Erika Wedemeyer has overseen well over 1,200 real estate transactions.
Presently, Erika K. Wedemeyer is Manager of the Mortgage Division at Catalyst Direct Funding, where she is responsible for overseeing clients’ sales transactions, loans and investments. Erika helped pioneer, develop and launch the firm and also provided needed assistance as the company obtained approval to originate FHA and VA loans in all 50 states.
Prior to working at Catalyst Direct Funding, Erika K. Wedemeyer was employed as an Account Manager at GHI Mortgage, 1st Choice Mortgage and Accredited Home Lenders. While working at Accredited Home Lenders, she maintained a closing ratio of 75% and continually surpassed monthly volume goals.
Erika Wedemeyer is licensed with the Department of Real Estate. She is also a former member of the President’s Club (Wholesale Lending business with Accredited Home Lenders, 2002 – 2005). During her membership with the President’s Club, she was amongst the top 5% in sales and profit nationally.
Erika received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1992 from the University of Arizona where she majored in Media Arts and minored in Vocal Performance. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, singing and teaching kickboxing.
